Wonderful Christmastime

Forever 21 Top . Old Navy Pants . Rockport Boots
----
Minus the blistering cold weather, this has got to be one of my favorite times of year. Everything is beautifully lit, people are generally in a better mood, the semester comes to an end and my well deserved winter break starts. So today I have a very simple, last minute Christmas outfit. I do not plan on doing anything fancy this year, so I kept my outfit pretty casual.
----
Recently I was contacted by Chairish, and was given the opportunity to kind of showcase my holiday style with a few of their pieces. Chairish is a marketplace where people can buy and sell vintage items, such as furniture, decor, jewelry, and other accessories. You can check out their amazing shop Here.

This is a look for a more formal occasion, I went with a little black dress from Mango with a geometrical honey comb pattern (here). Since this is a statement dress due to the pattern I wanted to keep the accessories light and not overpowering. I added these gold pumps from Steve Madden (here) and Rhinestone Earrings and Bracelet from Chairish (here & here).

As well as showcasing my holiday style, I've also included a few of my favorite pieces from their shop that I would pair with my holiday outfit shown above. My first favorite was the Napier Silver & Gold Metal Necklace (here), then the Vintage Monet Bold V Bar Necklace (here), the 10K Gold Filigree Diamond Ring (here), the Large Oval Silver Ring (here), and last but not least the Silver Brass Snake Chain Bracelet (here).

Happy Holidays! Enjoy!

Ultimate Christmas Gift Guide

Get Beautified
Let's be honest we all love a good pamper session. During our busy work schedules we tend not splurge or make time for these well deserved sessions, so receiving them as gifts is always a good feeling. I recently discovered the AEnons and Fig + Yarrow line, and I've fallen in love. All their products are all natural/organic which is super beneficial for your skin and body. ( AEnons website and Fig+ Yarrow website )

1. AEnons Dead Sea Mud+ Charcoal Exfoliating Mask & Sea Kelp + Rose Clay Purifying Mask - $24 ea.
2. Fig+ Yarrow Floral Milk Bath - $32
3. Fig+ Yarrow Bath+Body Oil Meadow & Woods - $44 ea.
4. Fig+ Yarrow Herbal Steam Winter & Spring - $22 ea.

Tech Savy
It's the digital age, everyone has and loves their technological devices. Maybe buying accessories for these devices to enhance their use and make it worth while would be the perfect gift for someone. Maybe if your feeling real generous this Christmas season, how about buying a completely new device. That would make someones Christmas. Or simply buy it for yourself, either way. ( Get items here )

Fashion Forward
So I know it's a bit hard buying clothes as gifts for people, because you never know what they might like or not. Everyone's style is different so that also adds to the difficulty. But what I've come to realize is that sticking to very simple, basic pieces is key. Everyone wears black, white, grey and neutral colored items, so I would stick to these colors when clothing shopping for others. Unless you have a very good idea of what they like or want.

1. H&M Textured-pattern Sweatshirt - $29.95
1A. H&M Textured-pattern Turtleneck - $29.95
1B. Mango Mixed Leather Biker Jacket - $129.99 (currently on sale)
2. H&M Ribbed Jersey Dress - $39.95
2A. H&M Knit Cowl-neck Dress - $49.95
3. Mango Wool Blend Cap - $ 49.99 / Ribbed Cap - $44.99

Read It Up
They say reading is fundamental, so I say buy them a book. Books make the best presents, even for the occasional reader. Just know their interest and buy a book about it, this makes it kind of hard to give a bad gift when it's a book. It's a thoughtful and personal gift.

1. Damn Good Advice By George Lois - $9.95
2. Palo Alto: Stories By James Franco - $15
3. Refinery 29 Style Stalking By Piera Gelardi and Christene Barberich - $19.99
4. #GIRLBOSS By Sophia Amoruso - $23.95
5. It By Alexa Chung - $30
